An Unusual Venetian Glass Dressing Table Mirror Stand.

An unusual glass dressing table stand. This gorgeous example is formed in the style of a hand mirror and would have been on a dressing table to stand items on for display or use.

The stand is Venetian in origin and has a mirrored top with beveled edges and engraved floral decoration. The reverse is silk, with flowers and leaves. An unusual and decorative item.

Condition :- Very good, with no chips, cracks or foxing to the mirror. The silk base is somewhat worn and stained, commensurate with age and use.
