Victorian 19th Century walnut leather library desk tub chair or armchair. Fantastic Gothic styling. Quality, attractive and well made chair, with no loose joints or wobbles. Heavy, solid and strong. The leather upholstery is old, heavily patinated and worn, with cracking and repairs....looks fantastic.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. Historical repairs, as is the norm, but all is solid now. We have not inspected components concealed beneath the upholstery, but the seat is quite comfortable without the typical lumps and bumps of an antique chair. There are a few historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, that we have treated for good measure. Dissimilar period castors with wear as you would expect.

Overall maximum dimensions: 74cm wide, 66cm deep, 77cm high (44cm high seat when sat on).
