Pair of Victorian Country Elm Antique Smokers Bow Chairs

This Delightful pair of Victorian Country Elm Antique Smokers Bow Chairs circa, 1860 have beautifully figured curved backs with shaped arms, turned spindle upright supports and a figured shaped seat. These charming pair of chairs stand on four turned legs with double H stretcher for added stability and are also solid and sturdy, fit for everyday use. The elm has aged to a warm mellow shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
