Set of 4 Victorian 19th Century mahogany balloon back dining chairs. A great rare find, with fantastic proportions and simple styling. Lovely colour, age, patina and charm. The chairs are heavy and solid with no loose joints.

The upholstery (appears to be a heavy weight silk) is not new, having a little wear and some faint marks. If required, we could reupholster prior to despatch in a customer's fabric for £40 per chair.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. There are some historical structural repairs (as one would expect), but all are strong and good now. Just a few historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, but treated for good measure.

Overall maximum dimensions: 46cm wide, 53cm deep, 89cm high (45cm high seat when sat on).
