Beautifully carved in oak the chairs stand on fine cabroile legs with scroll toes and bear the markers label "Bertram and Son, 100 & 101, Dean Street, Oxford Street, W. The firm operated until 1909 when it was sold of by Sotheby's. In very good original condition and have been recently re-upholstered. Circa 1890.
