Set Of Eight Hepplewhite Design Edwardian Antique Mahogany Dining Chairs

This Fine Set Of Eight Hepplewhite Design Edwardian Antique Mahogany Dining Chairs circa, 1900 consist of Two carvers and six dining chairs all with striking shield shaped backs and decorative pierced back splats with urn design, typical of the Hepplewhite style. These marvellous chairs have splayed back legs and tapering front legs with spade feet. They have a H stretcher for added stability and are also sturdy for everyday use. They have recently been upholstered in a neutral fabric with leaf design. The Mahogany has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
