Description

Here we have a rare and wonderful George III East Anglian knife back Elm armchair c1810. As you can see the chair has rich colour and patina. The is a broad top rail with scribed decoration. The knife back has turned supports which well executed. There are lovely swept crook arms with turned supports. The seat is solid Elm with wonderful grain and colour. The legs are squared and tapered with stretchers all round. A super country chair in great retail condition ready for your home.
