Unusual Set Of Leather Embossed Edwardian Antique Walnut Dining Chairs

Dating from the Edwardian period circa, 1900 this wonderful set of fine quality Chippendale design chairs comprise of two carvers and four dining chairs. They are constructed from the finest quality walnut and have a lovely carved back with pierced back splat. These stunning chairs have the original / very early leather embossed decorative seats with the original studded trim and are a deep burgundy colour. This wonderful set of chairs stand on splayed back legs and squared front legs and have a H stretcher for added stability. The Walnut has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
