Description

A very large and impressive 19th century gilt-framed oval wall mirror. This beautiful mirror, rare for being so large, has its original bevelled glass plate within an exquisitely well-detailed frame comprised of a beaded sight edge, a textured concave section, and a part-burnished convex section etched with a subtle floral pattern. The gilded finish to the frame is original and has a warm, soft and glowing lustre shine. This stunning wall mirror, dating from c.1890, can be hung in either portrait or landscape orientation.
