Description

A spectacular mid-19th century Florentine mirror which can be used as a highly decorative general-purpose wall mirror or as an overmantel. The original bevelled glass plate with its beautifully sparkling appearance full of warmth and character is retained by a stunning giltwood frame comprised of scrolling intertwining leaves with edge and corner motifs. The finish to the frame is original and has a most attractive soft lustre shine. This magnificent example, one of the best Florentine mirrors we've seen in years, dates from c.1850s.
