These 8 chairs are actually 2 very closely matching sets of 4. They are all 17.5'' to the top of the seat and 38.5'' high. They date from the early 20th century. These are very good quality and good looking chairs with a conventional finish and nice patina. One has been recently re-rushed and the rush on the others is sound. They are country chairs made from indigenous woods, mainly ash and elm. There is the option to buy to period armchairs with this set - these are the same height to seat but the backs are higher (see last photo)
