Description

A super original set of twelve Arts & Crafts dining chairs comprising two carver armchairs and eight side chairs. The high backs with scrolling top rail with stylised flowers and centre piercing, reupholstered relatively recently in blue leatherette with brass studwork. On turned tapering legs with brass and brown pottery castors to the front, and square tapering outsplayed legs to the rear all united by a strengthening H-stretcher.

All the chairs are in sturdy condition with no loose joints, there are some minor knocks to edges on the top rails, one has a chip to the top of a leg. The armchairs are slightly faded.

Side chairs - 18 1/2in wide x 19 1/2in deep x 39 1/2in high (47cm x 49.5cm x 100cm)

Arm chairs - 25in wide x 23in deep x 44in high (63.5cm x 58.5cm x 112cm)

Seat heights - 20 1/2in high (52cm) with the armchairs being 1 1/2in (4cm) higher
