Set of 6 Antique Victorian Balloon Back Dining Chairs

19th century
Description

A super original set of six Victorian walnut balloon back dining chairs dating to around 1860. With decorative pierced and carved backs above gros-point floral needlework seats and on cabriole legs. These are good examples of this popular chair with a lovely soft patina and elegant look.

In good condition, there are some marks to the needlework upholstery and the braid is coming loose, some old repairs to the back stretchers and one with loss to the top piercing.

If you are not sure please do not buy without clarifying or take the view that the only way to have it as near to new as possible is to have it fully and comprehensively restored.

For delivery we use a small carrier experience in carrying antique furniture. Delivery is usually within 31 days and the carrier will make arrangements with you directly. We can provide contact details of other carriers if required.
