They have curved backs with beautiful decorative carvings and the chairs stand on splayed backs legs, with turned front legs, again with fine quality carvings, finished with a brown porcelain castors. The chairs benefit with upholstered seats and backs, making them particularly comfortable and the fabric is still in very good condition. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
