Beautiful set of Six Victorian Antique Balloon Back Chairs

Dating from the early Victorian period ca. 1850 this Beautiful set of Six Victorian Antique Chairs have curved balloon backs with elegant carved central back supports. The chairs stand on splayed back legs and have beautifully turned front legs with fine decorative carvings. The drop in seats have been recently upholstered in a neutral fabric so come in very good condition. This is a genuine piece of antique furniture which has a couple of minor old repairs, as one would expect but they are very sturdy for everyday use and they have aged to a lovely rich shade of mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
