Stunning set of Six Regency Mellow Mahogany Antique Dining Chairs

Dating from ca. 1830 this Stunning set of 6 Regency, Mellow Mahogany Antique Dining Chairs have curved, inlaid backs with reeded sides and reeded bar back supports. The chairs stand on elegant splayed back legs and beautiful turned front legs and come with an unusual X framed turned cross stretcher with added back support, so they are very sturdy and good for everyday use. They have been previously fully restored so come in extremely good condition and have aged to a lovely mellow mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
