An amazing find; a set of six exquisite country kitchen dining chairs in elm, beech, and fruitwood. These beautiful Windsor chairs have elegantly turned splayed legs united by H-stretchers, and a plain bar back with a rope-twist midrail beneath. Loose joints have been dealt with by being taken apart, cleaned and re-glued. They retain an original finish with a sublime colour and patina. English, c.1840 – c.1860.
