It has an unusual crinoline stretcher, curved back with beautifully shaped pierced back splats and turned up upright supports with delightful curved arms. This superb antique chair has wonderfully aged with a beautifully figured and shaped seat and it stands on four beautifully turned legs. The elm has aged to a lovely warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing
