Description

Superb pair of late 19th.c. English made Italian Renaissance revival X frame or ‘Dantesca’ armchairs c.1880. Solid oak frames with carved and reeded detail, turned stretchers and original pot castors. Retaining the original crimson leather upholstery and heavy brass studwork. Repairs to the leather, otherwise very good unrestored condition.

Dimensions: width 25", depth 18", height 36".
