Welsh Carved Oak Literary Throne Chair.

Description

Impressive high back carved oak throne chair with the three feathers symbol produced for the Baptist Literary Festival here in Llandudno on New Year’s Day (Canal) 1887. Extravagantly carved with crisp foliate detail, shaped arms and topped with turned finials and the traditional Welsh three feathers. Beautiful condition, with the original brass plaque.

Dimensions: width 24", depth 25", height 52".
