Fine George II Virginia Walnut Dressing Mirror

Description

FINE basically all original George II Virginia walnut dressing or toilet mirror. The nicely shaped, stepped base with three drawers, all of which are oak lined and have their original brass handles. Quarter round mould to the base with ogee bracket feet.

The mirror with gilt slip and original mirror plate but has originally had a shaped top section which has long since been removed. The uprights with original brass finials and original brass handles for the mirror.

The whole piece is the most gorgeous original colour and patination that can only be achieved from years and years of waxing.

Apart from the missing shaped top to the mirror this is in completely original and un-touched condition.

SIZE; The base is 17" wide by 11" deep and the mirror stands 27" high overall
