Description

Large Decorative Victorian Antique Overmantle Mirror

Dating from around 1870 this antique Victorian overmantle mirror has wonderful large proportions. It has an arched shaped frame which is delightfully decorated with three varieties of moulding while the base is flanked by scrolled carved corner brackets. It beautifully frames the original heavy mirror and has a gilt finish. It has a good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Approximate dimensions are:

Height:135cm / 53"

Width: 132cm / 52"

Depth: 8cm / 3"
