Quality Georgian Mahogany Antique Desk Chair

Dating from around 1810 in the Georgian period this stylish desk chair is constructed from the finest quality mahogany timbers. It has a shaped curved back with central carved back splat and two beautifully scrolled arms. It stands on splayed back legs with turned front legs and is upholstered in a very early brown leather. This super quality chair is an ideal purchase for the purist antique collector or the modern interior designer with a penchant for the, currently in vogue, eclectic look. The mahogany is a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
