Description

An unusual & comfy pair of late Victorian revolving desk chairs, the oak backs with sun-ray carvings to the top rail and the curving arms terminating in globes. The padded seats are upholstered in a turquoise blue leatherette edged with brass studs and one chair is also fluted to the front edge, the four S-shaped legs have the original brass and brown pottery castors stamped ‘C & C patent’ to the wheels.

Some wear/fading to the globes on the arms, one chair with a shrinkage line to the centre of the back and white marks to the back of the same chair.
