Description

Here we have an exceptional William IV Mahogany desk chair c1830. As you can see the chair has super colour and patina. The top has a broad arm and raised camel back with a wonderful curve. The pertruding arms have exquisitely executed carving and there is folded leather band with studwork. There is also fine carving to the back flanks. The beautifully shaped cabriole front legs are also well carved and have the original castors. The chair has been re upholstered by a master upholsterer in the traditional way using traditional hair stuffing and finished in fine quality Italian leather. The leather is a Tuscan Olive green with a traditional wax finish. A fine quality rare period desk chair in super retail condition ready for your home.
