Description

A beautiful high quality Giltwood Overmantle Mirror of large proportions, having an intricately carved frame, decorated with foliage and beading, the base having wonderful scrolled carved acanthus leaves to each side. Retaining the original mirror plate of which has light foxing but with a good clear reflection along with original panelled back boards. Raised on the original porcelain squat bun feet. English, Circa 1870
