Pair of Regency Mahogany Dining Chairs

19th century
Description

Circa 1815, pair of Regency mahogany dining chairs with lovely top splat in flame mahogany and is concave in shape. Beneath this is a cross rail with turnings and a lovely slow twist centre piece almost in the form of coiled rope. The uprights are reeded and shaped, coming down to a large stuffover seat. Beneath the seat is a double ribbed moulding, and the front legs are turned and tapering. The back legs are outswept. Very stylish pair of chairs.

Most items include delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
