Pair of Italian Tub Chairs

Description

An absolutely fabulous and impressive rare pair of Italian gilded tub chairs in the rococo style still retaining their original gilding which is in very good condition. The chairs are deeply carved with flowers and scroll leaf decoration to the arms, the front and the back.

The chairs have been re-upholstered in a very good quality fabric in a basket weave style. The colours of the threads are gold, bronze, brown and black. The chairs are finished with a single piping and have duck feather seat cushions.

A sample of the fabric can be sent if requested.

Width - 40 inches

Depth - 35 inches
