Superb Quality Set of Six Victorian Antique Walnut Dining Chairs

Dating from around 1870 in the Victorian period this striking set of six Victorian antique dining chairs are constructed from walnut and are of superb quality. They have beautifully carved curved backs, stand on splayed back legs and turned reeded front legs which are finished with brown porcelain castors. They have been recently reupholstered in leather and finished with a stud trim. They are all sturdy and sound, good for everyday use, and the walnut is a warm, medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
