Set of Six Regency Mahogany Antique Dining Chairs

Dating from around 1820 in the Regency period this set of antique dining chairs are made from mahogany. The set consists of four dining chairs and two carvers, all have moulded edges and carefully crafted back splats. They stand on elegantly turned front legs and splayed back legs with the added benefit of a 'H' stretcher. The drop in seats are currently upholstered in a floral fabric but could easily be reupholstered to ones own choice. The mahogany is a rich medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
