Pair of Regency Mahogany Chairs by William Trotter

Description

Circa 1815, pair of Regency mahogany chairs by William Trotter of Edinburgh, with the classic shaped top rail in flame mahogany with egg and dart beading within. There is a central splat which is a smaller version of the top rail again with flame mahogany and beading. There is a drop in seat pad. There are sabre legs at the front and similar swept legs at the back. The chairs have wonderful colour and excellent condition.
