We are delighted to bring to the market the first of two fantastic condition Regency tortoiseshell tea caddies, this fine caddy is sepentine shaped to the front and stands on four stained ivory pill feet , the caddy is further banded in fine silver wire with a silver coloured escutchion and a plain cartouche to the lid ,the interior has two lidded compartments with stained ivory handles, ivory banding and a green velvet lining to the lid,a cracking caddy !!

The condition for a caddy of this type is superb , the shell is lovely condition throughout , the interior ivory banding is lightly cracked and chipped but complete, there has been some old repair to the ivory banding on the underside, the underside still retains its original lining paper and the caddy comes complete with key , an absolute must have to enhance any serious caddy collection !!
