Large Victorian White Painted Overmantle Mirror - Acorn & Oak Leaf Detail C1880

Description

Standing approximately 52 inches (1.32 m) and measuring 41.75 inches (1.06 m) this LARGE VICTORIAN WHITE PAINTED OVERMANTLE MIRROR has OAK and ACORN detail to the frame.

The MIRROR retains its original panelled back and glass. There is some wear to the silvering at the top of the mirror and at the bottom but it is preferable to have this than a replacement glass.

The main area of glass gives good vision and a strong reflection.

In places there are traces of the original GILT over which the white paint has been applied.
