Fine Quality, Set of Six, Antique Mahogany Edwardian Dining Chairs

Dating from around 1900 in the Edwardian period this fine quality set of six antique mahogany chairs consists of two carvers and four dining chairs. They all have elegantly styled high backs with vase shaped back splats while the carvers also benefit from delightfully scrolled arms. They all stand on splayed back legs and cabriole shaped front legs with pad feet, their drop in seats have recently been reupholstered in a neutral jacquard fabric. The mahogany is a rich medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
