This delightful pair of Georgian mahogany antique side chairs date from around 1800.
The drop in seats look to have been recently upholstered in a neutral linen fabric that could easily be replaced if so desired. The mahogany has aged to a medium dark shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
