Late George III Hepplewhite Style Childs Chair

Description

Circa 1810, late George III carved and stained walnut childs chair in the Hepplewhite style, the raised back with Prince of Wales plumage in the centre of the open slatted back. The chair has two small serpentine arms and curved uprights. The chair has a stuffover seat, recently reupholstered, and stands on square legs at the front with a reeded fore edge and swept legs at the back united by an H stretcher. The chair is sturdy and a lovely size.

Size 64cm high x 42cm wide x 35cm deep.

Most items include delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
