Shabby Victorian Wing Chair With Original Upholstery

Interesting Victorian mahogany Wing Chair with original carpet and velvet upholstery. The Chair stands on cabriole front legs with french splay back legs with all original castors. The upholstery appears to be the original, in dark blue velvet and with two Persian carpet panels in the back and seat. The condition of the frame is fine as are all the legs, with some scrapes and knocks. The upholstery has areas of severe wear particlarly on the arms where it has worn through, the look is very shabby! think old gentleman''s library, came straight out of a local cottage where it had been for fifty years.
