Athey Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
the shield shaped mirror plate within an inlaid surround held by scroll supports, the bowfront base has three inlaid drawers fitted with brass knobs(the centre drawer stamped gillows) and raised on ogee feet.
normal marks etc commensurate with age and use, some age marks to the mirrored plate but nothing which detracts from the piece at all, this really is a superb quality mirror which is not done justice by the photographs.
