Set Of 8 Georgian Revival Mahogany Dining Chairs

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Antique Furniture Company

A good quality set of eight mahogany Hepplewhite style dining chairs dating to the first half of the 20th century. There are in very good condition and the set is made up of six single and two carver chairs.

They are a rich dark mahogany colour with a hoop shaped back and pierced splat with carved wheat sheaf motif to the top. The shaped drop-in seat pads have recently been reupholstered in a beige and blue flecked fabric and are supported on square tapering legs with spade feet joined by an H-stretcher and further stretcher to the back legs.

CONDITION:

These are in good solid condition with no wobbles and firm seat pads. The upholstery can easily be changed on drop-in seats to suit a different colour scheme. The wood has a lovely colour, they have been waxed and traces of old polish can be seen (see around the wheat sheaf).

Please contact me and I can send you a link to more photos of this chairs. Please note we have not individually photographed each chair in the set. ...
