Their styling is very reminiscent of the Regency period with the added small design features typical of the early Victorian era. Each chair has a curved back with simple and elegant carvings and stands on beautifully turned reeded front legs with splayed back legs. They have reeded edges and have been recently reupholstered in a complimentary fabric with matching trim. They are a rich dark shade of mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
