This is a very good quality Antique English Edwardian mahogany revolving office chair (circa 1900). The chair features an elegant shaped splat back, shaped arms and a saddle seat. The “s” shaped splayed legs sit on castors.
The chair is very comfortable as it features a saddle shaped seat.
Condition Report:
The chair is original and is in very good condition. There are no breaks to the legs, backs or arms. Free of active woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use. There are some old woodworm holes to the legs (see detailed photos). The chair has been thoroughly treated with woodworm killer and the legs are completely stable. The reclining mechanism and adjustable height mechanism are in good working order. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item.
