Description

Of lovely colour and patina this is a country made elm framed childs chair with original pine seat.A good piece of English vernacular furniture. There has been restoration to the chair in the past the main area being the rear of the chairback left hand upright which has a replaced section (done long ago and is of the same patina as the rest of the chair)There are also screws in the top rail which is cracked to the right and a small section missing from the rear all of which can be seen in the photographs. The damage is all of the sort expected from extensive use. Overall a very sweet piece and currently not easy to find.
