Set 6 19th Cent Spindle Back Chairs

Description

A lovely set of 6 rush seated spindle back chairs from the Lancashire/Cheshire area. They date from any time between around 1780-1840. They are a true set which is quite unusual as most sets are made up from odd chairs.

They are all in good condition, there is a little play in some of the joints but this is not unusual with this type of construction. The rushing is good with only a few damaged strands and should have many years of use left in them.

The maximum dimensions are:

95cm(37.5") high, seat height 45cm(17.5")

50cm(19.5") wide

41cm(16") deep
