Description

Very unusual late 19th.c. adjustable height chair by The C.Parker Co. of Meriden Connecticut c.1880. Whist the back is fixed the button stool seat rises and falls on a screw mechanism from 18? – 22½”. Striking design with shaped and pierced top rail and turned sides. On a heavy bobbin turned base with hard-wearing, tooled brass feet. Excellent unrestored condition.

Dimensions: width 14", depth 16", height 37".
