Set of 8 C19th Victorian period mahogany "Athenian" design armchairs . Heavy quality mahogany frames ,with vase shaped splats ,ring-turned legs and with recent red leather seats, all-round excellent condition. Classically-inspired design with broad seats ,shaped backs and scroll arms . Substantial proportions, no breaks or repairs. Cleaned and waxed ready to use. England c. 1870 Established in the Cathedral City of Worcester for over 30 years , M.Lees&Sons , run by Michael Lees ,have been dealing with public and trade from show-rooms in an early Georgian town-house.
