The chairs date from the late 19th Century, they are a classic spindle back design, with thick beautifully shaped elm seats, they are very sturdy chairs and very sound, the joints are all good, there is no woodworm or wobbling.
The chairs are 36" high at the back; the seats are 14" in across and 18” high
