Fine Regency Gilt Convex Mirror

19th century
Description

A very fine and impressive Regency period GILT CONVEX MIRROR of large size and in excellent condition. Surmounted by the traditional carved and gilded eagle with outstretched wings and flanked by scrolls, the convex mirror is within a beaded and scrolled concave border with inner ebony slip frame, whilst below are carved and gilded swags and twin branch candlesticks.

In fine condition, this good mirror measures 54ins high overall (137cms)
