Regency Rosewood Inlaid Mother of Pearl Tea Caddy

Description

We are pleased to offer this super original condition rosewood tea caddy from the early Victorian period , this two section caddy stands on four solid wood pill feet with decorative side handles and original lock and key , the front section is inlaid with a mother of pearl border and a decorative inlaid escutchion , the lid is made up of five sections all edged with a nice quality rosewood bead , each section being inlaid with lovely mother of pearl decoration .the interior is zinc lined beneath a pair of rosewood lids with ivory knobs.

The condition is fabulous and original !
