Description

A set of 8 George 111 mahogany Hepplewhite period dining chairs comprising 2 arms and 6 singles with shield backs carved wheat sheaf splats centered by oval paterae. The fronts with shaped serpentine rails on square tapering fluted legs and block feet.

A lovely complete set of Hepplewhite period chairs with good colour and proportion in excellent condition for the period. A few minor repairs and new dowel pegs but a solid set with a great shape and the original drop in seats. We have retained the seat pads for re-upholstering the drop in seats.
