Very Large 19th.c. Gilded Overmantle Mirror.

Description

Huge 19th.c. gilded overmantle mirror c.1870. Standing an impressive 84? (or seven foot) tall. Leaf pattern frame with superb wired gesso decorations and original gilded fininsh aged to a very attractive mellow gold colour. Very good condition, some minor damage, fitted with a new mirror plate and retaining the original backboards.

Dimensions: width 65", height 84".
